Getting an Account

If you don’t have one already, you need to establish a log in and password on the OpenTox system. You do this at the link: www.opentox.org/join_form. The system will send a confirmation email with a link you must click to set your password.

The next step is that an administrator has to (manually at this moment) put you into the ToxBank group, and when this is done you will be able to access the data. You may contact XXXX for information on the progress.

Logging in on the ToxBank Wiki

With a password you can access the data at the link: wiki.toxbank.net. You will be asked for you credentials by the web server, causing a dialog to popup by your web browser. The Wiki will automatically log you in, when the authentication with the web server has finished.

Gold Compounds

When the web page opens, you will see the heading “Gold Compounds” and under that a link to “Hepatotoxic Compounds”, which directs you to a table of the compounds under consideration. Clicking on a compound name takes you to the data for the compound. We’ve tried to make the pages self-explanatory, but let me know if you have any questions and we’ll provide more explanation.Comments. You can distribute your own comments on a compound by email to the group or by using the Wiki. To add a comment on a compound in the Wiki, click on your user name at the very top of the page. If it isn’t there, click on “Log in” at the very top-right corner and your user name will appear after you log in. Your name directs you to your own user page. If you look around, you’ll see a link that says “edit this page”. Click on it and it will take you to a text box for
