Absolute
Jump to: navigation, search

Absolute is the quality of a substance which means that the exact chirality is known and should be indicated in the connection table (a molfile and sdfile contains this information in the Counts Line) and the substance only contains that stereo configuration. Absolute stereo is usually determined by X-Ray crystallography.
