Relative is the quality of a substance which indicates that the stereo configuration is described in terms relative to the other stereogenic centers in the same molecule. In these molecules the configuration is reflection-invariant and typically utilize the terms R*,R* and R*,S*. In these cases a molfile or sdfile may have stereo bonds specified but the chirality field in the atom block should be marked as "0".
